^Lot 1030 Terni M38 'Carcano' 7.35mm #N6412

Stock has been sporterized. WW 2 Italian military carbine dated 1939. Features approx 21" barrel, no bayonet lug, fixed sights, side mounted sling swivels, butt trap, bent bolt handle, manual safety, Mannlicher type action uses en-bloc clips (clips not included). Stock's forearm has been shortened with front band/bayonet lug removed, stock has been refinished. Bore is dark/rough, rifling present. Most of the blue has turned a gray color with scattered light patina. rear sling swivel removed. Markings include "Terni", "(crown) RE", "1940 - XVII". No import marks observed.
